Private Climbing Instruction for 1-2 ppl
Get one on one or two on one instruction with one of our expert certified instructors! All rock climbing skills described in climbing courses can be taught in a more private setting.
Please leave a short note about your climbing experience and your goals for the day in the notes section when making a booking. (no experience required).
-All rock climbing gear is provided. You may bring your own gear to use if you have any but it is not required.
-What to bring/wear: water (water bottle), snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, sunglasses, a back pack, comfortable athletic clothing, and closed toe shoes (hiking or tennis shoes).
-Half Days: start no later than 8:30 am, end 12:30 pm.
-Full Days: start no later than 8:30 am, end 3:30 pm.
-Private Lessons with Sam start 8:30 am and end 11 am 1 person only
We can be flexible with start and end times depending on availability of the guide scheduled for your course.
Cancellation and Payment Policy:
For private instruction and climbing courses, we require at least a 72 hour notice for cancellations and rescheduling of activities. We will work with you to reschedule to a new date of if you need to cancel entirely, or if we need to cancel due to weather, we will provide you a gift card for use within 1 year. For special circumstances, contact us and we can extend the expiration date of the gift card.

Private Instruction Full and Half Day
If you are booking with a minor (17 yrs or younger) they need to be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or adult chaperone. Must be 8 years old or older to participate.

Barton Creek Greenbelt
Private Instruction with Owner, Sam Brodnax Want to get some one-on-one instruction to hone your skills? Are you a beginner needing to learn the basics? Are you an advanced climber that wants to work on a specific area? Join Sam at the Greenbelt on weekday mornings or afternoons for one-on-one instruction without paying full price for a half day. Times are 8am, 11am or 3 pm but Sam will work with you to fit your schedule if needed. $135 for 1 person for 2.5 hours: (times can vary if needed) NEW! Private instruction 3 day package! Enchanted Rock:
During summer months (May-August) we experience higher than usual temperatures at Enchanted Rock. Start and end times are subject to change depending on weather. $260 for 1 person; $340 for 2 people.
