Summer Rock Climbing Camp will be 5 days rock climbing at the Barton Creek Greenbelt, and Reimers Ranch. Kids will get professional instruction on beginner to intermediate climbing skills with a SPI AMGA certified climbing instructors. This is a great way to get your kids outside for a fun activity in the heart of Austin TX.
Who: Kids ages 8 -16
What: Rock climbing at The Barton Creek Greenbelt and Reimers Ranch
Where: We will be meeting at the Gun Fruh entrance to the Barton Creek Greenbelt (2642 Barton Hills Dr, Austin, TX 7870). We will finish the day by cooling off at Barton Springs Pool.
When: 8am-3pm Monday-Friday June 2nd- August 15th
What to bring/wear: Water (2 water bottles), snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, sunglasses, a backpack, comfortable athletic clothing, and closed toe shoes (hiking or tennis shoes). We experience higher temperatures during these months so be sure and bring plenty of water.
What we provide: All climbing gear needed for the day including helmet, harness and climbing shoes for each participant. Professional instruction on climbing skills.
